Persian Garden Scarf

This elegant scarf is inspired by a cotton-and-wool carpet in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Made in Kurdistan in the late 18th century, the carpet bears the traditional “Charbagh” pattern of a four-part garden, representing the architectural layout of Paradise. Made of 100% wool, this delicate scarf interprets the original artwork as a wearable accessory.

Cats of the Met Notecards

As citizens of the internet, we can agree that cats are fascinating beasts. They’ve beguiled artists since the dawn of time, as evidenced in this set of 36 notecards celebrating 12 of the glorious creatures depicted in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection, all charming examples of the art world’s feline fixation.
